One of the best parts of camp for me is Omanut (art). This year for my chug I chose sculpture. Hanging out in art is really chill and you get to do things you normally wouldn’t get to do at home like making candles, bracelets and tie-dye.
One of my favorite parts of the camp was the farm. I liked seeing the flowers, chickens and food. I got to chase around the chickens which was so fun. I also got to pull the weeds with my cabin mates so we could plant food.
I’ve been at camp for 2 years and one of my favorite parts is going on the water slides and going into the pool. They have the coolest water slides here.
There are so many things I love about camp it’s hard to name just one. The sports are fun because you get to play hard and have fun with camp friends at the same time. Camp is fun because I get to express myself and live with people I don’t normally get to live with. Capital Camps changed me for the better.
This is my 5th year at camp and I can’t really sum up camp in a few words. If I had to though, I would describe the mud course. The course is so much fun because there is a sense of unity. No matter if you like the mud course or not, everyone has fun and cheers each other on
I’ve been coming to camp for 7 years and I love it because Maccabiah is the one time every year that kids from all ages come together and aim towards one goal.
My cabin, Mt. Meron has been like a family. We go to aquatics, meals and the farm. We always have fun wherever, whenever!
One of my favorite things about camp is chug. I like it a lot because I get to choose to do anything I want for an hour a day for a week. There are so many choices like tennis, basketball, soccer and the lake. This is my 2nd year at camp and I am having a great summer!
